Role – International Lead Officer

Location – Based at Doncaster, but will be expected to go to North Lindsey College also.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated International Lead Officer to play a key role in developing and delivering our international activity. Working closely with curriculum teams and external partners, you will lead international mobility projects and partnerships that enhance opportunities for learners and staff. From coordinating overseas placements to supporting participants before, during and after their mobility, you will champion internationalism and ensure a high‑quality, safe and enriching experience for all involved.

Essential criteria

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, plus a degree or relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience of managing projects, programmes or funded activity
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage budgets, data and reports accurately
  • An understanding of safeguarding and student support within an education or training environment
  • Flexibility to travel overseas and work across different settings as required

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate international mobility projects for students and staff, including planning, logistics and risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with international partners, employers and funding bodies
  • Promote, recruit and select participants for international opportunities, ensuring fair and inclusive access
  • Support learners before, during and after overseas placements, providing pastoral, cultural and practical guidance
  • Prepare reports, evaluations and financial returns, ensuring compliance with funding and college requirements
  • Contribute to the promotion of international activity and continuous improvement of international processes
