Are you dedicated to maintaining clean and welcoming environments? Join DN College Group as a Cleaner and help us provide a professional and customer-focused cleaning service.

This post is based at North Lindsey College working 16 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday 6am-9:15am

Friday 6am-9am 

  - Finish your shift and the day is your own! Suitable for those with commitments through the day time (i.e. childcare, studies etc.)

Pro rata salary is £9,588.28 per annum

Role Summary:

Provide cleaning services for classrooms, offices, and public areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Clean building fabric, including coverings, fixtures, furniture, and sanitary facilities.
  • Move chairs, desks, and furniture as needed.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
  • Safely use and store equipment and consumables.
  • Report defects or concerns to the Estates Helpdesk.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Experience in a similar cleaning role.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, scrubbers).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent timekeeping and methodical approach to work.
  • Physical ability to lift and move furniture and equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Lets Teach Programme  
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.  

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
